• Re: A great Mises quote to use when debating with statists/interventionists

Luxury is an addendum, an item or idea conceived of for masturbation. Luxuries are not fulfilling primitive needs. They are limited, and thusly competition for them is based on subjective valuations. If the critic wishes to isolate another for power then the critic becomes an exploiter. Equitable according to objective valuations on the economy. A worker

  • Re: A great Mises quote to use when debating with statists/interventionists

If the critic is in need of luxury or power then the critic is wrong. If the critic is unable to change circumstances to equitably benefit himself and his target then he is correct in his assumption. Luxury is the assumption of desserts. Desserts are granted on the basis of work. Power is the assumption of force for force's sake. This is dictatorial

  • Three liberal rights that matter, and three that don't

There are three liberal rights required for civilization: 1. Freedom of Religion - That is to practice any religion or faith that you so choose with other willing practitioners. 2. The right to bear arms - That is to possess capability to defend yourself from tyranny or to organize against tyranny. 3. The right to information - The undeniable right

"Stalinist interpretation" "Crude communism" is the mandated takeover of formerly capitalist enterprises. "Socialism" was formerly the most acceptable answer to entering into communism when States were at their highest authority because they wielded such authority. "the entire quote" provides against Lockean homesteading

  • Re: Marxism

Voluntary exchange isn't inherently wrong. The problem is that perfect libertarian conditions have never existed. If say, you were trading your mined gold for mined rubber in the Congo in which two people who did the mining are doing the contract and aren't intefering with anybody else in the process then this is not really a bad deal. Even
Let's hope you're wrong. Egalitarianism can only be established with violence.
Property rights and capitalism are only established with violence.

  • Re: Marxism

Communism does not exist unless the necessary material captivity exists for it to be implemented. Marx Communism "required" the darwinian man, the tribal collective man, the feudal man, and the capitalist man in order to achieve the socialist man, and then the communist man. Socialism in the 21st century is going to have a markedly different

  • Re: Marxism

I'm referring to bickering communists seeking a purity in "real" communism versus bickering capitalists seeking a purity in "real" capitalism. The unchecked double standard is ironic.

  • Re: Marxism

Communists bickering over who did best (or worst) to establish it reminds me of capitalists bickering over who did it best or worst. Many Liberty freedom fighters on this forum would happen to think that capitalism has never truly been free of statist nazism. So I guess that puts anarcho-capitalists and "real" communists on the same page.
