Not surprising at all really. Most military folks would probably prefer first not to go to war at all, and then if they did go to war it would be for something meaningful - like the defense of their country. Nation-building, international police force, aggressive occupier - these aren't the missions that most would want to perform. Democrat and

Could it also be that the US and USSR were the only coutries that abducted German rocket scientists? Some won't believe a thing exists until they see it for themselves. Maybe someday Clayton will get a ride, but I think even then he could still think the 60's and 70's lunar landings were fake. So we need to build him a time machine also

Why is anyone expecting the government to act morally? Better yet, why do some expect them to follow their own laws? If a law opposes the desired action of the state, the state reserves the option to either change the law or ignore it all together.

However, they received no

Let's say I was uninsured and I accidently ruined an extremely expensive piece of equipment, worth 10 million dollars. I don't have the money to pay for it. Do you think it should be legitimate for the owner of the equipment to force me to work until I pay for the piece of equipment, even if it takes my entire life? Good luck to that employer

Yeah, because totalitarian inconsistencies are so much better than libertarian inconsistencies.
