Speaking as someone who has researched the world, accumulated much physical evidence, and made very signifigant personal sarcrfices doing it, I can tell you that it's all real. Did it do anything for me? It didn't do as much as Austrian economics and Libertarianism has, but it is more imporant in my opinion.

No. Consumer sovereignty determines production. Everyone has different needs. Some people want to eat more, some people less. Because you think they shouldn't eat as much as they do is a personal problem.
