The bitcoin market is so tiny that you can't really engage in a worthwhile ammount of arbitrage. Small transactions move the market a lot.

I agree with pretty much everything you've said, but the fact that the private sector can not make a profit in dollars without the government running a deficit in dollars does not at all imply that deficts are necessary for economic growth.

Lol, what would the conspirators stand to gain by informing the media about their plan before actually carrying it out? That would just be overcomplicated, and the key to a successful conspiracy is to keep it simple.

How would average wages fall when new buyers are added to a labor market? Are unemployed people included in those averages?

I think the falling Euro is temporaily propping up the dollar. Oil and uranium really took a beating, too. This is a good buying oppurtunity. I doubt we will ever see gold below 1200 again.

What does "collective bargaining rights" even mean? I have been trying to find the full text of the bill unsuccessfully. Usually these things are pretty easy to find with google, but in this case I have just been able to get pages and pages of political garbage. Perhaps someone here can help?

I don't get as pissed off when corporations manipulate the system to their advantage because that is exactly what I would expect from a self-interested entity. What pisses me off is the people who steal my money and then just hand it over to the special interests.

If such cycles existed then shouldn't market participants be mitigating their effects through temporal arbitrage?
