  • Re: Why is U.S. health care more expensive & worse than other countries?

anyone who believes the infant mortality / life expectancy is a reliable statistic needs to do some research before speaking... the way infant mortality is measured across the world is apples/oranges.. i wish people ( all of us) who have the energy to post "facts" in forums would also have the energy to look into every freaking static and

  • Re: Intellectual response to socialism/big benevolent government??

"Much of what appears “natural” today dates from the 1980s: the obsession with wealth creation, the cult of privatisation and the private sector, the growing disparities of rich and poor. And above all the rhetoric which accompanies these: uncritical admiration for unfettered markets, disdain for the public sector, the delusion of endless

  • Re: Is it likely Obama will trick Iran or North Korea into firing the first shot?

Venezuala? Its sick. No one ever questions why we rip on them constantly. There are a LOT of brown bogeymen in south america, let alone the world. • Re: Austrian Investing

while i believe AE to be correct.. I do not believe that this knowlegde is so helpful when investing. because the markets are often antilogical. investing as an AE would lead you away from a lot of gains in booms becauese they are irrational and temporary- but you can certainly make money there. Maybe AE would/could keep us ahead of the curve a little

  • Re: Hello Mises.org! Defector Here!

Drace, I’m not sure what country you are in/from. But living in several states in the US I can not relate to the view of “working class poverty”. I believe with all my heart and head and have so much evidence in front of my face everyday (myself and family included) that a person of average intelligence willing to work a bit and not
