    Wouldn't the economy grow if the immigrants saved and contributed to the economy? I am trying to do a thought experiment with the "how an economy grows and why it doesnt" style island economy lol. If the three islanders are joined by three immigrants on a boat, the islanders can loan out saved fish (or produce and loan out nets) in exchange
