From someone who has personally worked on DOD funded projects before I can at least make the case that the money (and there is LOTS of it) is spent very inefficiently ! This fact alone might bring one to believe that without DOD money/contractors there would be much more efficient producers which would in turn produce much better products ;)

I'm still new to a lot of this but this election cycle has really illuminated to me magnitude of the issue with Government. For example: Meg Whitman's $100M+ financing for her political campaign and our spending of over a trillion dollars to be in an (illegitimate at least according to the NAP) war overseas. @Aposiopesis, I feel the same way, I just wanted to share these links with the community and hear your thoughts about it. Mainly I was curious if anyone else had ran into these pages before and what they thought when they saw them. I wasn't suggesting this to be true, as I said in my last paragraph none of these accusations or claims matched up
