• Re: The War of the Words
We, the belligerents against the State and its totalitarian humanism
No, we're the humanists. Statists, environmentalists, classists, etc. are anti-humanist.

  • Re: Planned obsolescence, myth or reality ?

This really isn't possible in a free market. If your product is inferior, people will likely buy another brand the next time. Plus it wont be long until my consumer advice agency figures this out. If you restrict the lifetime of your light bulbs to 1000 hours, someone will come along and make a killing with light bulbs that last 1100 hours. And

  • Re: Please post your thoughts about Neil deGrasse Tyson's assertion that state funding is necessary for scientific progress

Shooting massive amounts of resources into space, that could have made health care more abundant for millions of people, to add useless theoretical knowledge to astrophysics journals, that less than a percentage of the population understand or care about? ...the market wouldn't do this? Damn right the market wouldn't do this! If markets frittered

  • Re: Global Warming
s there a viable libertarian solution to the problem of man-made global warming? "Viable solutions" don't include appeals to critics of AGW. Let's assume for the sake of argument that it is real.
No. By design, the global warming scam is a problem that cant be solved in the market. That is its

  • Re: Marxism and the workers
The truth of the matter is that all of socialist theory completely disregards the need for coordination . I'm sure it does. Ya, those central control addicts really don't care about coordination, right?
Yea. They know a lot about planning, but very little about coordination. You can't plan

  • Re: Left wing parties better for economic growth
But prepare for a wall of text.
I actually appreciate you getting into specifics this time. Now, apologies for this wall of text. Could you do me a favor? Just as an intellectual exercise, while you are posting on this site, could you quit using the term "public"? The public is an abstraction and abstractions

  • Re: Marxism and the workers
trololol
Laotzu, you chose to omit the most important sentence in my post. I suspect because it is the one you don't really have an answer to. The truth of the matter is that all of socialist theory completely disregards the need for coordination . Factories do not simply appear in the countryside

  • Re: Left wing parties better for economic growth
That may be true in some cases, and privatization methods such as BOT are used often, but public support is critical for the instances we've looked at. Highways, rural roads and electrification, and so forth. Plus universal education , public healthcare (or lack thereof), and public science funding.
When
Alright. Conclusive proof that all public projects everywhere should be defunded.
The state not spending your money should really be the default position. Do you need proof that the state should not make you follow the right religion? Or that the state should not tell you who to marry? Why then would you need
