There is a reason why you don't hear of armed gunmen murdering dozens of people at a gun range. If more guns = more crime, then gun ranges should be the #1 place in America for murders to occur.

Edit: I had questions but reading Ghraham's debate on the other forum cleared them up. I don't see how anyone could get mad at you for just asking questions like that. I'd like to see other examples of you debating like that because I think you nailed it.
If someone says something that makes you angry

This is one of the best articles I've ever read on this subject: The Real Significance of the 'Civil War' by Tom Woods. Here is the money quote: "There can be no minimizing the abolition of slavery, and that it was an enormously significant result of the war. But one may certainly ask whether the abolition of slavery had to be brought

You mean how would we convince them that they just need to follow Rose's and/or Hoppe's advice? I would probably print out a one page, double-sided intro to include with each book. In the intro I would tell them why we are sending this book and put in things like the above quotes.
Yes but how would they go about implementing it? Revolution?
They are a democratic republic. So they could either ignore it as Larken Rose explains, or vote it in as Hoppe explains, or a mixture of both: Larken Rose: "States are more vulnerable than people think. They can collapse in an instant—when

^If they aren't ripe for change now, there is the possibility that their society could get swept up in some global depression or whatever down the road, at which point they wont be so content and will want change. But even if they are always content, I don't think one can say it's impossible because (1) this has never been tried before.

I don't know if this has been thought of before, but what if we turned the people in the tiny country of San Marino (a country that should be on your radar ) into anarcho-capitalists? All we need is an intellectual change to come about in enough people within a country. What if we mailed everyone in San Marino a book that will do that like For a

@Nielsio: The Santa tale was funny. It reminded me of how much I laughed reading the case for Ebeneezer . You understand that Tom isn't refferring to his own political philosophy when he says that the Union is a means to an end, right? When he says, "The Union is supposed to be a practical thing. It’s supposed to be a means to an end;

Lol! So true. I hope you like the title as much as I do! So much for making it stand out.
