As a side note, Rothbard referred to Chesterton as one of his favorite authors. Not sure I have ever seen mention of why that was.

Both should eliminate all trade barriers, but even if one remains protectionist, the other should still remove all trade barriers. You can't lose by trade freedom. Protectionism hurts every nation, to the benefit of very specific industries, and national pride.

Sudan also has the whole "perpetual war" thing going for it, between the civil wars, the LRA, and the Darfur crisis. It all stems, though, from the government not recognizing the rights of its citizens... especially those from ethnic groups it doesn't like.

Well, most Austrians would decry the idea of governments owning property, but if the investors were private, there would be no problem from any end. It may not be the most beneficial arrangement for those in the host country, but as long as the agreement is arrived at voluntarily by legitimate parties, there would be no issue.

Wages are prices... but if prices of goods in general rise, wages can rise, but purchasing power hasn't risen.

This would happen to an extent, yes, but to a greater extent people flock to where their job skills are needed, or simply stay where they grew up. There is always some clustering of like minds, but it is not likely that much of the society would consist of homogeneous communities.

I was under the impression that the "hatemongering" was in response to the continued attacks by the Koch brothers for a few decades, as they tried to edge out anyone with an-cap tendencies (Rothbard out of Cato, etc.). You are the first owner for both your body and homesteaded property. Your body can never have another owner, so there can be no transfer of title. Your other property can only justly be controlled by another through title transfer, at which point it ceases to be your property.
