• Re: Help understanding Marxist and debating them.
Thanks, you answered a question I was wondering about for a long time - the withering away of the state. I even attempted to read Marxian literature to figure it out, but it was always so long and bulky that I never had that question answered.
'An Anarchist FAQ' ( anarchyfaq.org ) is more comprehensible
Your second question, how putting the state in charge of everything will lead to a stateless society, is one I still ask myself. As far as I can tell, they are just wrong. Marxists say that once central planning has lead to superabundance, the state will wither away on itself. So their theory is statist in practice

  • Re: Quick Question

Can anyone go in to more depth on the CBE? How can I relate the American FED to our own central banking system? How much has the value of the pound gone down in the UK and since what point exactly was the central banking system established? What is English monetary policy, how does it compare with US monetary policy, etc. Cheers.

Is the central bank of England (CBE) as bad as/does it use similar policy as the FED? What about other banks in the world, et cetera?
How would an anarchist support governmental nationalization of private industry when they don't believe the state should exist in the first place?
In theory, they support local community ownership of localised industry and the promotion of democratic workplaces as opposed to centralised state ownership.
This video has been removed by the user. :(
I know, its really weird if you go on to his channel there are now lots of anti-anarchist videos everywhere all of a sudden uploaded from a different user. Weird.
Is it true that firearms are illegal in UK? If so, statistics mention that crime has risen because of that. I'd like to know from a citizen point of view.
You have to acquire a very specific licence and own a lot of property to acquire a shotgun or a firearm (even more so with a firearm). They aren't illegal
You won't ever find a set in stone definiton of what Sharia law is in the first place- it means different things to different people within the Muslim community. For example in my own perspective of Sharia law- it cannot be imposed on anyone, doesn't include things like stoning people to death(and countless

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/8385069.stm The swiss ban on minarets shows exactly how effective the implementation of democracy is at preventing the majority from attempting to impose their every whim on individual freedom. (Not very).
