I'm inclined to agree with fsk on this issue. If the people you are debating can't understand that making a good "free" doesn't make it more abundant subsidising something makes it more expensive placing a price ceiling on a good will lead to shortages then I'm pretty sure it's not worth wasting your time on these folk
