  • Re: We should all disregard Adam Kokesh

I liked when he was confronting the socialist occupy protestors last year but stopped paying attention to him after he was taking bong rips during live interviews... A friend of mine said after he and his gf broke up he posted something about getting all the libertarian girls pregnant or something like that on his facebook which kinda creeped her out

  • Re: Homeless in Hawaii?

I've known a few friends who've lived there and they mentioned a lot of the homeless sleep on the beach due to the moderate weather. Not sure about the fruit but there's always fish...

  • Re: Anarchist delusion -- Or why I stopped hating government and learned to love career politician Ron Paul.

In the long term scheme of things I certainly speculate on how a document that has failed to maintain the goal of limiting government power leads to question: how could any other centralized method effectively do so? • Re: Voluntary austerity

Right, and while I don't think there are many bureaucrats that can grasp that overall, it may be a plus for those of a free market perspective if a bureaucrat was ever on record for admitting an agency-wide failing in similar regards, inadvertently or not. I do see how they can come up with any excuses they want, but I'm more interested in an

  • Re: Voluntary austerity

Lack of efficacy as compared to what? How is efficacy defined here and by whom? I guess it could be as basic as a department head admitting the agency is unnecessary but your next point does underline why it is so rare to see. I can see why my phrasing may have been a bit vague, as from my perspective - and I'm sure many here - that state efficacy

  • Voluntary austerity

Hi everyone. My first post. I've been lurking for a while and have been an armchair economist for the past few years I really appreciate the contributions Mises.org has done for the field and would say that what they're doing is heroic. I've been finding few, if any, examples of government departments or agencies admitting that they are
