  • Re: Professional Military

Allow people to have guns, like the Japanese General said, we would never invade the Continental USA, behind every blade of grass would be a rifle. I believe that quotation is an urban myh.

  • Re: Kinsella v. Wenzel

Is it me or has Wenzel been getting increasingly shrill and desperate in the last few days in regards to this subject? I don't know if it's just me reading it into his stuff, but visiting the EPJ has become almost trite at this point.

  • Re: Steubenville Case/Rape Culture

When people talk of rape culture they are talking about the views of a culture in regards to rape, and it's various off shoots that can define rape culture which also includes sexism and patriarchy. Ridiculous feminist bullshit detected.

  • Re: Bitcoin drops 23% in one day.

Yeah, I checked out the reddit thread and it looks like it's a problem with the database updates they implemented in the latest patch.

  • Re: Ron Paul vs. RonPaul.com

At this point it doesn't matter, he's taken the incorrect position. Ronpaul.com seems to have homesteaded their website to a higher degree than Ron Paul has, according to Libertarian principles. Further he's wrong about IP, which is also not defendable. I don't understand this point. ronpaul.com is not a place, and it's not connected

  • Re: Why Keep Clementine Moon Probe Photos Unreleased?

Fumbling by nasa engineers caused the cameras on the probe to be useless and the vast majorities of images were not fit to print, and would be an embarassment to nasa if they were released?

  • Re: Ron Paul vs. RonPaul.com

My biggest problem with this is that if ICANN was a private institution in a free market then I wouldn't consider this theft. Just a really daft contract that the holder of the domain name had agreed to. I mean, basically anyone who did business would them would be in a permanent bind, since they could never be sure whether someone else could put

  • Re: Was Luke Skywalker wrong for destroying the Death Star?

Yes, but they obviously didn't just utilize all their resources to make death rays or whatever the hell for no purpose at all, they must have had some objective. Furthermore, who were they killing? Well, internet speculation has it that Darth Sidious was aware of the Yuuzhan Vong threat and had the death star constructed in order to deal with that
