  • Re: American presidents and war crimes

Well you have to specify whether or not a president is committing murder. Postulate this: If a president sends military forces into a country and commands them to murder the enemy, is he the one doing the murdering? When does the command become action? Is the president committing the action or merely giving the command. Just because one is commanded

  • Re: An Austrian Perspective On The History of Economic Thought

Economic history isn't for everyone. Go to the history section. There is a whole reading list there if history in general interests you. I can also recommend some works if you describe your interests.

  • Re: Sorry, guys, the U.S. is finished

So back to an earlier comment before this topic got completely derailed. I just think it wrong to presume that people can be "educated" into libertarianism. People have to choose to be apart of it. Libertarianism is out there. It is available for mass consumption. It is not a choice that every individual is going to make.

Why have this notion that if it is continually presented in front of them that they will the accept it? This whole "educate them till they are libertarian" thing doesn't seem to have legs to me. People are different. Few do not know about libertarianism. Why try to continually force it in front of them?

  • Re: Marx's "Private Property and Communism"

That is the editors impression upon what he thought Marx meant and honestly with all the interpretations of Marx and his ambiguous writing, it has no more or less value then Rothbard's. And really I do not see the connection between medieval communes and this obscure passage. I have yet to read in any of Marx's writings his acknowledgement of

Here comes the doom and gloom. The end is nigh! Have a Charleston Chew and go to bed. Wake up tomorrow and realize that you can only control yourself. Live, be happy and try to find some success.

  • Re: What it Means to be Anti-State

Getting a response, whether yes or no, goes back to being a somebody in the world of publishing. The people at LR can get away with not addressing your email or articles. Again, not trying to be cruel, but who are you? What influence do you have? You are in a sea of others like you. Gotta be a somebody, then you will be acknowledged.

It's simple. Are you published in any scholarly sources or media sites? Then you are not going to get published on LR. It's harsh but they are not going to put up articles written by somebody no one knows about. It's like me trying to get published in the American Historical Review, which is basically the top journal for historians, while
