Has anyone written a refutation of Jeremy Rifkin's thesis about technological progress creating a workerless economy?

It sounds like he's falling into the ecognorant fallacy that labor is valuable in and of itself. In reality, it is the fruits of labor that are valuable.

Personally, I would look forward to a four hour workweek and retirement at twenty.
