In DiLorenzo's How Capitalism saved America, he starts off with Adam Smith in the course of explaining Capitalism. However, how does DiLorenzo's work not conflict with Rothbard's premise that capitalism existed long before Smith and in fact Smith did much to harm the advancement of capitalist theory?
