Where do NGO's fit in in the market?

Are Non-Governmental Organizations part of the market and the market process?  Assume for the sake of arguement NGO's are non-government funded and managed.

If you mean organizations such as UNICEF, there is nothing wrong with them being privately owned and operated, receiving voluntary donations.
