I was talking to the friend who is move upwards in his political party (it is a liberal conservative party) and he was explaining me the manner by which one gets elected and so on. My question is this if u were elected wat policy direction would u advise that would not leave him open to the socalists which are experiencing an upsurge at the moment.
and by upsurge i mean that they are starting to infringe on property rights and taking on private sector debt.
for the record im not from Northern America or EUrope
If he's going to need to argue with socialists, he should definitely do it with statistics. And he needs to make sure to argue with them in front of people using those statistics. I find that the majority of socialism is based completely on emotion, and when you get into statistics, you see that it really doesn't work as well as the emotions would like it to work.
I see that you're not from Northern America, but what works very well for politicians here is arguing with the text of the Constitution. Citizens of the United States are very patriotic when it comes to the Constitution, so if you have one like it where you're from, I'd argue about going back to the roots of your country's founding.
