Hey guys I'm writing an anti-war paper and I really need help finding a reputable source supporting the following statement:

The Executive branch typically utilises aggressive foreign policy to distract public opinion from domestic economic issues, particularly when there is a recession. In the American context, Alex Mintz and Nehemia Geva find that the use of force is more likely by Presidents in democratic countries in an election year, especially when opinion polls are not favourable.

If anyone knows anything I can cite, let me know. I've lost the Mintz and Geva paper I reference here, so I'll have to find something else.
