I live in NJ.  We currently broke the record of all time most snow in a month.  I was thinking about all the salt used to de-ice the roadways and how that affects waterways, drinking water, etc.  If I do not want salt water on my property, as it may damage my property or water supply, how would that be reasonably enforced?

You mean if it runs from a common road into your driveway or something?

i think the NJ government would just laugh at you if you said that to them... since when does government respect private property?
