"Anarchism is a political philosophy which considers the state undesirable, unnecessary, and harmful, and instead promotes a stateless society, or anarchy. Any information relating to anarchists should be reported to your local police."

Finally, they are coming for us.
Anarchy will subsume the world one day regardless of who controls it now. Once information asymmetry is done away with, with the increased ability for information to travel, there will be no way for anyone to take advantage of market opportunity, then all we will have is peaceful cooperation
"Finally, they are coming for us."
Lol!
Mark: If asymmetric information is simply done away with by a whim, why can't the scarcity of goods be done away with?
I have never come across an argument that claims the free market can do away with asymmetric information. Care to expand upon your claim?
Any information?
So we should send them all the books in the Mises store?
Sheesh, nice trick to get free stuff! Though, maybe the police will download the files to an ereader and read them.
Because they really want to know about anarchy? and not just the locations of people to arrest?
I am not sure what I despise the most, hardcore statists or "anarchists" like this commenter, who said:
"So they don't talk about the real terrorists which are the Bankers and Multinational Mega wealthy who corrupt our politicians with Campaign contributions and lobbying?"
I mean... corrupting politicians? It's like when a mother of a young bully complains, that the bullie's victim CORRUPTED her beloved and only child into abusing him. Gimme a break.
(english is not my native language, sorry for grammar.)
My claim is that information is the thing that gives certain actors more power than others. Knowledge is power. This is not the free market, but technological advancement, Moore's Law. Our knowledge of the things doubles pretty quick nowadays. Think for a second, that if everyone was to understand the banking system in a matter of a few years (pipedream). The system wouldn't function anymore. The same can be said for many many systems. Our knowledge of the world/universe/etc. is coming to a head.
I don't know how you can 'do away with' scarcity...by definition you kind of are stuck with finite resources. Information is repeatable (in computer data form or in the human mind)
Stuff like this could help us overcome scarcity to a degree...
"So, will we all soon be living like Arabian Nights sultans with a 3D printing genie ready to grant our every wish? Could economies as we know them even survive in such a world, where the theoretically infinite supply of any good should drive its value toward zero?" haha
Asymmetrical information will always exist. Simply put, incentives matter. If we can do away with asymmetrical information then wouldn't democracy ultimately be the best solution? If everyone knew the same things, and they were on the same level of hierarchy, why wouldn't they produce optimal policy results?
James John:Anarchy will subsume the world one day regardless of who controls it now. I don't think you understand which kind of anarchists the report actually refers to.
These are not "anarcho-capitalists", these are anarchists. You know, like Greek, Italian, and Spanish terror groups? Fire Cells of Athens and Thessalonica? Red Brigades?
Do you know what they have been protesting or violently rioting over, recently? Austerity. Budget cuts. Reforms in state pension schemes.
Don't conflate those guys with your agenda.
It would still not work if they would have different preference scales.
Right, my original statement was not well thought out and was born of optimism. and yea those people are not anarchists. The people who run the government who do not follow the current laws are the anarchists. The bankers are the anarchists.
I will open the doors to the police and tell them that they can join me on a wednesday evening for a study group, where I will teach them about natural rights and how society can exist without a state. I have some great books that they can read, I am sure they will be interested.
It is only natural for the state to defend itself, infact the state goes as far as, the employees of the state protesting against reductions in the state. So we have government employees who resist government spending cuts and I often wonder who exactly are they protesting against? They can not be protesting against the government, because that makes no sense, so I figure that they must be protesting against the middle class tax payers. But then I thought about it and I realized that due to the marxist propaganda that they received, they all think that the rich people should pay for the government. The whole class struggle aspect, some how they managed to convince the people that socialism is about the working class, a struggle against the rich exploiting them. But what makes it crazy is when we have individuals protesting against government cuts, anti-capitalists, that go on to violently attack retail shops and banks, only for the media and the police to call them anarchists. This is obviously the insanity in the whole situation.
The state protects itself and then goes on to blame people against the state for the actions of its own followers.
You would have to be misinformed to say the least, to whole heartly promote the state. Especially considering all the destruction in history and wasteful spending of governments.
The more tyrannical a government gets and the more problems we get from a government the more people are going to resist the government.
They're talking about socialist anarchists, not free market anarchists. If they want to arrest more socialists, let them. Less people for us to argue with.
Either way, they are fighting the banks that are taking control of all of their national wealth. Discernment is required here.
First, they came for the anarcho-communists and i said nothng (Sh!t, some people even supported them)...
Then they came for...
Moore's law is the result of market forces, not the other way around. "Replicators" already exist... they're called living cells. Scarcity is a permanent and ineradicable problem and replicators or 3D printers or what-have-you will no more make scarcity disappear than the original replicators (living cells) have.

Applying Moore's Law to the amount of physical inventions that people have come up with is what i meant. Moore's Law is only a computer transistor interpretation of it. And i also am referring to it in terms of those natural living cells that amount to human knowledge. Like this, haha. This video will put it into perspective.
listen to this. He can articulate things much better than I....He gets to artificial intelligence and the stock market....It will be replaced by something logical.
You think Flatfoot knows the difference?
My reaction is that the only honest thing to do as concerned citizens of the globe is to purchase one of every book in the Mises.org bookstore and ship it immediately to Scotland Yard as evidence of anarchism. If we're lucky, they'll actually read the evidence. That could start a major shitstorm.
That would be trolling IRL. I like the idea :D
