Freedom has always been the only route to progress.
but this is the case for capitalism after all... or am I missing something? Is that an alien baby (on the left)?
(english is not my native language, sorry for grammar.)
Not if your thinking in a "life is a zero sum game" mindset. In that mindset, those fat kids are taking money away from the alien child somehow.
I thought the point was that Africa (supposedly) has capitalism and people are starving, and America has capitalism and people are "overconsuming". So either way, it's bad.
How about "humanist concerns for Africans not being paid enough and hence not buying African goods" isn't working?
Or how about "how the heck does America, by existing, hurt Africans at all?"
Really? Capitalism is causing those starving children? Fat cats are keeping money from the starving masses? I don't know much about Africa, but I'd guess the problem is bad environment/disease.
The solution is simple: Threaten to kill the fat kids and kill them if they don't comply, and then the Earth will be a better place. There is no other option.
Or perhaps it's along the lines of:
"HEY LOOK HOW RICH AND FAT WE ARE WHILE THE REST OF THE WORLD STARVES, CAPITALISM FAIL"
I honestly can't tell if this is parody. Or why the kid on the right looks like the Michelin Man.
If you decrease regulations and allow real capital investment to take place in Africa, then maybe the African people could actually produce and afford food. If you decrease regulations on the American insurance industry and allow them to discriminate, then eating at mcdonalds everyday for 20 years won't seem as tempting. This picture should be a case for capitalism not against.
