Neither, I don't see any party putting Austrian economic principles in their party platform. There may be more austrians in one party or the other, but that doesn't mean anything about the party itself.

As far as Austrianism is concerned, no. Economics is a value free science.

Well it's definitely not the Constitution Party.  They seem to be rather protectionist.  The Libertarian Party used to represent austrian economics well, but there are other factions like the chicagoites that seemed to have gained more strength.  The Libertarian Party is currently moving to a more moderate position for strategic political purposes. I would still say that the Libertarian Party is closer to Austrian Economics than other parties, because the LP still has an Anarcho-Capitalist wing to it.  I think it is bigger than a lot of people think, because a lot of minarchists in the LP are closet AnCaps. They just don't proclaim it for political purposes.

We'll find out when Peter Schiff HOPEFULLY runs for senate in 2010. That will be a big step.

I hope he doesn't.  He is doing much more good working as a business man and getting people to escape from America's sinking ship economy.  I don't want him to go from being part of the solution to being part of the problem.

Good point, but we'll never get out of this problem if we dont get people that actually understand economics in there.
