I'm engrossed in Goddess of the Market: Ayn Rand and the American Right by Jennifer Burns at the moment, and it's an amazing read. But I wanted to mention for everyone here that the book goes into interesting details (many of which I wasn't aware of) regarding her relationships with Mises, Hazlitt, and Rothbard. If anyone is both a fan of Austrianism and Ayn Rand, as I am, you'd find it highly illuminating.

Life and reality are neither logical nor illogical; they are simply given. But logic is the only tool available to man for the comprehension of both.Ludwig von Mises

What an oddly ironic title.

I'm glad you are enjoying this book. It massively improved my own appreciation of Rand - which I'm sure Randians would find ironic. It is a great read, filled with wonderful research. Burns really did the thing here. I'm also grateful that this book helped me to understand Rothbard's own experiences with the Rand circle.

I hope everyone buys this book and reads it. It is just great.
