Just watched this awesome documentary.

I am writing an Essay for English on the Mass Media and its influence on the public opinion. Anyone got any articles they can link me to? I just have to write a nice three-page paper. Well, I could jsut write it from the documentary or his book.

Watch Sean Hannity's show in its entirety (if you can stomach it).  Look for loaded questions, outright lies, hyperbole, quick changes in topic and misdirection.  Then, listen to Al Franken's radio show, look for appeals to fairness justifying theft, PC garbage, really dumb reasons to get out of the wars.

That should give you a whole textbook of material on how to appeal to a human's visceral impulses to manipulate their opinions.
