The will is the starting point of ownership from which all else resides. You may substitute the term “your mind” for “your will” if it helps you clarify the deduction. The will is preferred to the mind and a distinction may be helpful. A mind is a qualifier for a will, but a mind need not have a will. For example, the undeveloped or underdeveloped mind may not be in command of the body; as is seen in an infant or someone within a vegetative state. But, even is situations as such there is quasi control of ones will (only under external mind control would someone’s will be forfeited). Therefore, a will is a better substitute for our language needs. Therefore, we may make the claim that our body is simply a tool of our will. You may say that our will is our only nontransferable possession, endowed to us by the process of birth or, in the language of epistemology, the will is that which all else is deducted, the a priori of ownership from which all else is exchanged a posteriori.
