On a recent road trip I took I came across these two Nietzsche books in an antique store in Kansas.  I got them at $15 a piece (I also came across a copy of The Wealth of Nations, but had to pass it up, and something was written on the spine, just wasn't as valuable as these).

Nachgelassene Werk, Aus den Jahren 1869-1872 (Diminished Works From the Years 1869-1872; 1903), and Jenseits von Gut und Böse & Zur Genealogie der Moral (Beyond Good and Evil & The Genaology of Morals; 1918).  They are part of a larger collection and listed as Nietzche's Werk Band IX, and Band VII.  I looked up his bibliography and I couldn't find anything listed as Diminished Works (in English or in German).  The covers aren't in the best condition, but the pages are in mint condition.  Any thoughts on the value of these?

I had always been impressed by the fact that there are a surprising number of individuals who never use their minds if they can avoid it, and an equal number who do use their minds, but in an amazingly stupid way. - Carl Jung, Man and His Symbols
