Not really, but this is a bit confusing:

This is a collection of Wikipedia articles that were mostly written by me and sold on Amazon in a 13 page booklet.  Does anyone know what the hell this is all about?

Wikipedia has a new print shop doesn't it? I recall seeing a tab for it sometime ago. Might be that?

I was thinking something along those lines, but I never knew such a thing existed.  I also can't find anything telling me they are doing anthing like this.  Also all this is about a dozen or so "stub" articles that they are selling for 14 dollars(!?!).  Stupid me ordered this thinking I was getting something of value and something I didn't write.

Likewise I clicked on the LLC publishing link and they seem to be publishing "normal"/ real books.  Honestly, I don't see how something like this could exist, it seems like a waste of resources and time...unless of course there are enough suckers like me out there.

It's a "publishing company"  that throws together random Wiki articles and sells them as books.

Something like this.

I love the idea.

I love the idea.

It really is a fantastic idea.

I still feel bad, though, for never having given any money to Wikipedia. I'm quite poor since I'm in college, but nonetheless.

I tried it once, and a single troll deleted all my effort including my citations. Stating I did something wrong. Well my history was short, and his was long and I haven't the energy to argue with wiki trolls simply because they disagree on something. So I don't regret spending any time there.

ahh yes, here we go:

http://www.amazon.com/Lycia-Sarpedon-Bellerophon-Language-Chimaera/dp/1157408036/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1294203165&sr=1-5

Another "book I wrote" much of.  I am turning out to be quite the anonymous proleterian scholar.  And as should be expected from such a thing, it is quite the rip off.

Major point though, be wary of this publishing comapny

On wiki, when you create an article. Is work your kept original? Un-altered? And is it known who wrote the article? I guess I am confused, I thought all of this stuff was anonymous and that contributions were collaborative.

Oh it is, I was more or less exagerating.  I just had a very large part in all of those articles, I was more or less joking.  There is just a sham publising company printing these articles in books and putting them on amazon.
