I've donated a lot of money (I give away a lot of the money I earn for doing things around the house which isn't a whole lot) to his campaign (I've lost track, but it's almost $200 which is the maximum I'm allowed), but I didn't do the phone calls or anything.
I feel like I just wouldn't be a good spokesman for his campaign (although I'm sure I'm not as bad as I was 4 years ago), so that's part of why I only donate money. The only other thing I do that might count is post links to current events on my facebook.
I thought it was cool when he went on the Morton Downey Jr. Show in 1988.
Did anyone here do any campaign ads or participate with the phone calls?
It really depends on where your comparative advantage is. Admittedly this is very hard to estimate, but if you make $300/hour and you can't make Youtube videos worth a damn and don't have much free time, then just donate. If you have little money to spare but a lot of free time and are good at something social media or presentation-related, do that. A really well-made video or prezi.com presentation can change a lot of minds.
