Would you have moral objection to being a criminal prosecution or defense attorney, or would you have a difference in preference between the two?
I would not want to be either. I think that either way, you're selling your soul advocating the absolute judgment of a person for the sake of winning a purely self-invested argument. It's fine for some people to do, but not for me. But I think the biggger problem is in the system itself.
It's like bipartisan politics--either way, you're obstructing truth in the futile hope that a distant end makes up for it. And, of course, I end up being classified an "idealist".
