Continuing from where the first video ended, the human now tries to explain to the alien the concept of "countries", the difference between a democracy and a republic, and the purpose of a Constitution.

Nice. Sent you a bitcoin micro-donation. My first donation ever!

You've again done a superb job of keeping it balanced by characterizing the statist argument as the man on the street (or average redditor) sees it, and the presentation is quite polished. It was perhaps inevitable that in trying to respond to the various objections against the original video some of the freshness and punch of the original were lost, but this edition has many moments where a viewer is again able to do an "original seeing" and see past the words to get at the reality of what government is.

Thanks AJ - much appreciated!

I don't expect this one to get as many views as the first, but I hope it answers those commenters who thought the American system - with it's "checks and balances" and "separation of powers" - was somehow different to the government explained in the first video.

Great job. I've shown both of these to my kids. They are only 6 and 7 years old but it still generated some interesting discussions!

To be honest, the first one was better. However, this one is also great. I loved the part where the alien was like "what, the paper?"

How did you generate the graphics?
