If you had to restrict all government spending to just one single area, what would it be and why?

 

I realize most here would say the state is illegitimate and shouldn't even exist, but let's say for the sake of this discussion that isn't an option and you had to choose the "lesser of all evils". Stick out tongue

But....Hazlitt's EIOL is a polemic piece full of melodramatic and ideologically charged material that passes itself off as textbook material and is  without substantial mathematical content so it isn't really worth reading.....<----literally what someone said when I recommended it in another forum.....
