I am disappointed in this perspective. Consider that the capitalism we have experienced, for at least the past 50 years, has not existed in a truly free-and-open market.

Government oversight and intervention has warped the true spirit and progress of capitalism.

Additionally, the text linked to by the OP expressed a polar opposite view. I guess I'm confused as to what the OP was trying to say.

I'd be into a project like this, if there is a bit of serious support for it. I can't afford to take on new stuff on my own right now.

As far as a domain and hosting, I have resources in that area.

Should we start a Mises group for this?

Good comment to the tripe that so-called economist spewed out. I can't understand where they get their ideas from. Then again I am a CS Major that focuses on AI, which means I have to study other sorts of 'things' along the way to get a basic grasp of my mountains-on-top-of-mountains goal. Anyways, from my own 'expertise' many so-called economists don't know what they're talking about because they seem to think their mathematics trump the critters they're trying to apply them onto. This sort of top-down thinking often leads to the belief that top-down management is best. Too bad for them that it is not the case that top-down management works when you're looking at natural systems. :P

well, the fed.com thing was more of a joke, i know these domain names are all taken by now. But I like the blacklist idea.

Maybe a Wiki style website would be working for such a list. People could start doing it by themselves.

I could use my website freecitizen.info (ok the main site is in German, but this does not mean a subdomain has to be in German too).

We only have to come up with a good subdomain name, like blacklist.freecitizen.info or trustme.freecitizen.info or takemyword.freecitizen.info.

Any brainstorming is welcome.

I think we should label it something that those affected will worry about - a blacklist.

I could easily see a general domain name being registered (perhaps, libertyblacklist.com or the BFL [Blacklist for Liberty] .com, etc. etc.), where columns sorted into economics, political anlysis, etc. and sites are listed with user submitted explanations as to why they blacklist (i.e. do not support, read, or promote) said sites/ person's/organizations, etc.

As for fed.com, lolfed.com is already registered, so I'm not sure if that might be a conflict or not...

We need to make a website, where we expose all of these guys, and make fun of them while refuting their arguments. Surely they have big egos, and such attacks on their credibility will agitate them. Because they really, really agitate me with their lies and ignorance.
