I just had someone tell me that Hitler's quest to purge the Jews was in fact not a leftist idea at all because it meant conserving the national identity of Germany. People are so lost.

Nice. It reminds me of this blurp from an article on the debate over postal privatization in Japan I read yesterday.

Of course, he is against privatization.

Sometimes I post comments on YouTube when I'm bored and I started to post back and forth with some idiot war monger tonight. Anyway, the guy thinks that Reagan defeat the Soviets by spending money on weapons faster than they could. I simply said the Soviets failed because economic calculation was impossible.

Punch line of the joke: He asked me where I heard that from - "a leftist college professor?"

Just thought I'd give you all a good chuckle.
