Lilburne have an awesome one about Andrew Jackson and his struggle with the old Central Bank.

It's really thrilling and well written.

http://mises.org/daily/3632

This is one of the most beautifully inspiring articles I have ever read.

Suddenly, every fibre of my body is fused with a passion for justice that Jackson had when he turned against that repulsive central banker.

It makes me realize that this passion alone is enough to turn the bureaucratic central banking scheme against itself, allow its own corrupt practices to destroy itself, and bring down the entire system that supports inflationism, big government, and wars abroad.

To think that an economically literate man like Andrew Jackson had to fight it alone - currently, the economically literate people who are against central banking are manyfold, and there is no reason why they can't achieve what that one man did all alone with no help.

Re: Ten best articles in Mises.org

I can only think of 5 right now:

	1. The Sovereign Individual, Helio Beltrao

	2. A Society of Criminals, Ben O'Neil

	3. The War on The Young, Brian Foglia

	4. Science for the State, Jim Fedako

	5. Paul Krugman and the Consumption Myth, Jonathon M. Finegold Catalan

My list is probably not the top ten, but nonetheless form what I think would be a good introduction to libertarianism and Austrian economics. In no particular order:

 Kinsella, Stephen, "What Libertarianism Is"

Palmer, Matt, "Rothbard and the Nature of the State"

 Machan, Tibor, "Seen and Unseen"

 Hazlitt, Henry, "Understanding "Austrian" Economics"

------------------, "Man vs. the Welfare State"

Finegold, Jonathan, "Passion Comes from Liberty"

Mises, Ludwig von, "The Sphere of Economic Calculation"

Carden, Art, "Common Objections to Capitalism"

Rothbard, Murray, "Why Be a Libertarian?"

 _____________, "Spotlight on Keynesian Economics"
