The Feds and States coerce corporations to give some of their ill gotten gains (They earn it by making customers better off than they otherwise would be.) away as gifts/donations to charities. Of course there is absolutely no morality in the situation as the companies themselves are threatened into makeing these gifts. These same coercers have determined that donations to public schools are tax deductable. So companies then take some of what they wouild "donate" to other causes and give some to the public schools where they employees are coerced into sending their children. Of course this does nothing to make the public schools more responsible with their ill gotten gains (Public schools threaten their subjects with the loss of property, then freedom and ultimately their very lives if they don't fork over the money.).

Or another example, would the government give HP $100,000 in equipment, or $100,000 in government contracts if they give government schools $100,000?

There seem to be thousands of grants from huge companies and sometimes even smaller companies to government schools. No other industry seems to get as many grants, or even any grants. So I'm wondering, is government influencing this?

Do some of those grants come indirectly from government?

For example, would the government give HP $100,000 in grants if they give government schools $100,000 in grants?

Is there any weird stuff like that happening?
