What about the fact that both warring governments wanted Howl (a powerful wizard) to fight for them, and they tried to order him to do that?

Also, doesn't it seem like government breeds the conflict in the film? After all, it all started when a prince went missing. I thought it showed how government == evil very well.

What are other business cycle theories besides the ABCT and the Keynesian Business Cycle Theory?

There's Real Business Cycle Theory, which to my knowledge is more or less the 'new classical' school of business cycle theory. However I'm under the impression that research on business cycles in the past few decades have been sort of all over the place so it's hard to unify everything into concrete 'theories' in the same way that Austrian Business Cycle Theory is.

Well, in Princess Mononoke, the conflict of man vs. state is done really well.

There was conflict between the feudal lords/the king on one hand and the industrialist/arm manufacturer lady eboshi on the other. There was conflict between the industrialists and the wood they used as raw materials. There was conflict between the emperor and the spirit of the forest. One of the human characters also belongs to the spirit world and so is in conflict with humans. The other main character is cursed...I mean...I saw lots of conflict in that movie =]
