I would speculate that they feel that it's better to self-sacrifice for the sake of society (putting in lots of work for the institute, seminars and campaining) instead of taking the time to improve their personal lives.

As such, I believe there's a danger in setting the wrong example (of self-sacrifice).

Eating also has a lot to do with psychology, which I believe is not their strongest point; considering most of them are religious.

Obesity.

I'm not jocking.

A huge proportion of Mises's staff are overweight, if not plainy obese.

Block, DiLorenzo, Rockwell, French, Long, Maltsev, Raico, Thornton, Murphy, Woods, Cantor, are all on the fat track to a hearth attack.

This needs to become at big priority at the Insitute.

What can we do to help?

Maybe a new category for the 'Donate' form, to send contributions for "staff personal trainers"?

Any ideas?
