Among the the economic arguments are those that focus on the subjective theory of values; fallacies surrounding what governments in general can do, etc. Then you will be drawn to the importance of economic freedom, which underlies capitalism. I hope it helps.

Research Paper

I'm a Highschool student, and have been given the task of writing a research paper on the tensions between capitalism and democracy. The structure behind the paper is to construct an arguement using a modern event and historical event to create an arguement on what policies should be taken to resolve the certain issue. I'm not experienced, and dont know enough about the Austrian theory to know where to start my research, or exactly what kind of comparison I should make between capitalism and democracy. However, I would like to use this as an opporotunity to begin my research on Austrian economics, and was wondering if there were any books that specifically would be of use in relating A democratic system to capitalism.

Thanks.
