Yes, because they combine the failures of socialism, with the failures of fascism.

The problem I think that is hanging you up, is when he says, "economically pure brethern". He is talking about socialism and fascism as being more economically pure than PPP.

You can always get Dr. Block's email address off of one of his LRC blog posts, and send him an email. Based on his articles, I imagine a simple yes/no question like this is something he may take a moment to respond to.

I believe he means they have the flaws of both fascism and socialism, not socialism and free enterprise.

Walter Block says that public-private partnerships (PPPs) are "the worst of both worlds." PPPs "have the flaws of both," he says. He does not proceed to give any details, although he says "[government] regulations still determine the actions of these public – private partnerships."

So is it true that PPPs are indeed "the worst of both worlds"? Will someone please help me with this?
