	Does anyone know of any article/video where Paul Krugman addresses that World War II was more than just a spending binge and that Europe&amp;#39;s destruction contributed to some of the U.S.&amp;#39;s war-time post-war economic success.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;ve never seen him talk about WWII as anything other than a big healthy bundle of &amp;quot;stimulus&amp;quot; that we need to use as a model for ending economic malaise.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;d also like to know why he thinks there was a depression in the UK (only other country I&amp;#39;ve seen Real GDP data for WWII times) from 1944-1952 in terms of Real GDP.&amp;nbsp; Can someone point me in the direction of something like this?&amp;nbsp; Or is he just full of shit?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
