HSBC? ahahahah that's like me saying "i'm an anarchist and i bank at JPMORGANCHASE!" Cause i care!

TARP money went to HSBC and i think they are under investigation for fraud. My old bank, Lake City, I found out was a subsidiary of bank of new york mellon. Personally, i think this is a big issue. If you support virtually any political cause, don't bank at JPM cause you are working against yourself and your cause whether it be the environment, banking, constitution, war, food stamps, unemployement, or market manipulation.

I really bank at Old National. Which i think is regional. They publish their books, like all banks should, and only have a total of 1.81 billion in derivatives on about 2:1 on reserves.

Re: Best Bank(s) for Libertarian

	Hi

I've heard most independent/small banks are being marginalised and pushed out of the banking space by the big central bankers.

I'd like to know simply which banks do not fall under the authority of the Bank of International Settlements i.e. the central banking system. In the UK, the US and in South Africa, Australia, NZ etc.

	Jim

Best Bank(s) for Libertarian

What's the best bank for libertarians? I presume one that hasn't been bailed out or involved in the shadow banking system - but which one is best (or the least bad)?

	I personally like HSBC.
