I only have the first volume but it is a series of writings by the most famous anarchist writers. Very good series.

http://www.amazon.com/Anarchism-Documentary-History-Libertarian-Ideas/dp/1551642506/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1249785272&sr=8-3

http://www.amazon.com/Anarchism-Documentary-Libertarian-Anarchist-1939-2007/dp/1551643111/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1249785272&sr=8-2

http://www.amazon.com/Anarchism-Documentary-History-Libertarian-1974-2008/dp/1551643367/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1249785272&sr=8-1

I know the first volume actually deals with Pacific countries like Korea, Japan, China and I think mayyybe the south pacific. I can't remember exactly.

Promising Book on Anarchist History

Today I came across The Art of Not Being Governed: An Anarchist History of Upland Southeast Asia, by James Scott. I have encountered arguments on anarchist societies in Iceland, the American Wild West, and Spain, but had no idea that such a society existed in Southeast Asia. The book seems like it would be a fascinating read. Has anyone studied this topic?
