In DiLorenzo's book How Capitalism Saved America, he shows a table (page 98) of goods and their respective work-minutes for 1900, 1950 and 1999. DiLorenzo refers to "Myths Of Rich And Poor" as the source. I don't own this book, would anyone recommend it?

Does anyone know of sources where I could find additional statistics of this same nature? I'd like to see data for prior years, 1800 to 1900, if possible.

I found some interesting data at the source below. Unfortunately it isn't tabularized:

	http://www.dallasfed.org/fed/annual/1999p/ar97.cfm

I understand how the work-time is calculated, so I am interested in price and wage tables as well.

	Thanks
