Perhaps. Could you give me an example of your topic? The project has to be specific so the main problem I'm going to have is trying to explain in short but clear detail how watchdog companies would come about and work. Another problem would be that I would have to use a lot of my own imagination...

How long is your paper supposed to be and do you have to present it? I really don't know what an exit project is. I guess you can drop any mention of libertarianism/AE and just talk generally about privatization. Some people just have the whole nanny state/corporations are evil thing so ingrained in them. I enjoy delivering them a dose of reality. I guess just pick a subset of consumer regulation, whatever interests you.

To graduate project (exit) I have to do this. Everyone else is doing boring projects that have been done a million times so I'm trying to do this (and this has to be 6-8 pages). But thank you guys for the input, I need to have about 6-7 sources total to refer to and yes, I do have to give an oral presentation (in-front of a board of 3-4 parents).

A current topic is the awful National ID Card. You could argue against this in a myriad of ways:Legal/Constitutional, Expensive, Rights and Freedom, Government Power, Bad Economics, Racism/Hatred of Foreigners, etc.

And the best part is that your Left Wing Progressive Faculty will mostly agree with you. So you give an economic slant then you can slip in Austrian principals without them knowing it.

Senior Exit Project

I'm starting my senior exit project and I have a couple ideas about what I want to research. I was thinking about doing something related to an-cap. Right now I am thinking of researching whether or not watchdog companies could make an-cap work.(By "work" I mean provide a better sense of security/ safety for consumers).

I would obviously take the "yes" side of the argument (it does have to be argumentative). By watch dog companies I am thinking about companies overseeing the businesses of roads/ highways and Private Defense Agencies among other things.

If anyone wants to either suggest another interesting topic or suggest some recommended reading that would be a great help. I am also wondering what other major business fields watch dog companies would apply to.
