I have, you can read it in a few hours really. I really enjoyed the dialogue between the three theories of government. I have some quibbles with some points he makes, like on conservativism, and self-ownership being a necessary foundation of private-property, likewise I'm not sure I agree with some of the observations he notes, like democracies averting war. However, Jan is easily one of my favourite political philosophers and overall I think rationale contractarianism is a much more solid foundation for libertarianism than many alternatives.

Jan Narveson - You and The State

	Hey people.

I just had the pleasure of being given a presentation on regulation by Jan Narveson. I was able to chat with him. Very interesting guy, and from what I can tell, knows his political philosophy quite well.

I just picked up the book "You and The State" (review here): https://mises.org/misesreview_detail.aspx?control=364

I'll be reading this sometime soon and possibly putting in my 2 cents. (I still have to read some game theory books before I get this one done!)

Has anyone else read this book? Have anything to say about Jan?
