Just as a heads up, you are probably wasting your time here. Most of the commentators on this forum are extremely unreasonable. If you back them into a corner, they will begin to question you on the viability of basic things like the demand for money, the equation of exchange, GDP and the concept of a price level, to name a few. I'm only on here, in fact, because a few of my friends recently went to the Mises Institute and I want to get a feel for the sort of arguments they might use. I used to consider myself a student of Austrian economics as well but it's been a while since I've engaged with any Mises Institute folk.

There are actually two groups of Austrians: the Rothbardians and the Hayekians. Rothbardians are the cultish people. They believe in 100% reserve banking and usually take a natural rights view of morality. The Haykeians are more mainstream. Actually, there isn't much to distinguish them from mainstream economists, other than their general devotion to the ABCT. This forum is full of Rothbardians, unfortunately.

Anyway, if you want to continue posting here, be prepared to face a lot antagonism for seemingly no reason. Good luck.
