I actually don't see a lot of concrete evidence that implicates the Rockefellers/Rothschilds in conspiracy or the nature of the fault lines between them or other power centers in the world. I do believe that they are emblematic of the real nature of power in the modern era: anonymous, shrouded, mediate, inscrutable, utterly private. The only thing I'm really sure of is that the Presidents/Prime Ministers/etc. are mid-level managers, they are not the "heads of state" they are put out there to be. This is not to discount the power of the *Presidency* but that power resides in the office itself, not within a particular man. Hence, it's more important to control the instruments of power that the office wields (e.g. the Pentagon or CIA) and the people in line to sit in the office (Republican/Democrat parties) than it is to BE the man in the office. Just look at Nelson Rockefeller to see the problems with real Power Elites trying to run for political office. You can read more about my overall theory here: http://incompressible.blogspot.com/2010/07/kingpin-theory-of-power-elites.html Also, I (wildly) speculated once on this forum about a "blacked-out war" that may have occurred under the radar of the news during 2010. Here are some links showing some of what I thought were an anomalously high number of oil-related accidents during 2010: http://incompressible.blogspot.com/2010/09/another-gulf-explosion-i-called-it.html http://incompressible.blogspot.com/2010/09/yet-more-oil-accidents.html
