My Bio

I'm just naturally a libertarian.  I'm not a convert from any other school of thought.  I have always voted Libertarian whenever I could.  They took us off the ballot in Oklahoma so I fixed the links on the state party's website in an effort to help.

I took Economics and Business Math in High School.  Earned an A.A.S. in Computer Information Systems which included about 2/3 of the courses needed for a CPA including Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Business Math, and Macroeconomics.  Being a Software Developer I immediately recognized that the Macroeconomic Calculus equations were basically GIGO in nature with no real way of determining most of the inputs involved.  Using logical assumptions I was able to predict that the Dow Jones was overpriced at 10,000 in 1998 and predicted it would fall back to the 7,000-8,000 range at some point.  I was vindicated in 2008.  Of course the DJIA is still overpriced at 10K because demand will most likely fall off as retirees cash in their 401K's to pay living expenses with no offsetting demand.   After the crash I found Peter Schiff on YouTube and started digging into Austrian Economics.  Reading Mises and Rothbard has not only given me a formal logical system with which to apply economic thought, but it also serves me as a scientific grounding for my own ideology of individualism.  Wish I had read Mises and Rothbard before I took a few classes at OU a few years ago as I could only rely on my own logic and cunning to refute my Marxist professors (bad sign when professors at an American government funded school openly indoctrinate students with Marxism, Huh?)  However, in my debates with my professors I can say they were tolerant of my dissent and we had some good and honest debates.  One other thing about my time at OU -- Out of 200 journalism students in my intro to journalism class, I was the only one to memorize the First Amendment for an assignment.  All the info I get on this site helps me in the ongoing debate to win some hearts and minds out there.  If I can be of any help to anyone in your efforts, let me know and I will be glad to serve.
